Closing Ceremony Video

Mother Nature did not cooperate for our Closing Ceremony this morning. Instead, Mrs. Demos and I video taped the 5th grade and Kindergarten representatives assisting us in taking down the flag for the close of the 2018-2019 school year.

Summer is a time for reflection, relaxation, and reading!!! It is strongly suggested that the students read every day! Visit the library. Please ensure they complete the summer reading log and the math calendar. Just a few minutes a day is all it takes to keep their learning progressing throughout the summer!

I also encourage the students to spend some time learning something new this summer. Maybe it is how to cook or bake something. Maybe it is how to ride a bike or roller-skate. Or maybe it is how to make a friendship bracelet or how to build a model airplane. Whatever it is learning something new is how we evolve and continue to grow as people. We owe it to them to make this long summer vacation the best it can be!!!!

Thank you all for a wonderful school year. I wish you all a happy and healthy summer break and look forward to seeing you all late August!

Warm Regards,
